In December 2023, Eng. Raúl Gallegos assumed the position of CEO of NEXT, an industrial REIT that was launched in July 2025 with a portfolio of 8.1 million square meters of industrial warehouse space, making it one of the largest industrial REITs in Mexico.
Prior to this role, Eng. Gallegos spent seven years with Credit Suisse’s Asset Management group, where he developed and led a Real Estate Financing platform through a specialized fund (CKD) focused on providing credit to industrial, retail, office, and hospitality properties. The fund raised MXN $6,333 million from investors and ultimately closed MXN $17,000 million in credit across 34 investments.
Raúl had a long career at General Electric Mexico, where he served as President and CEO from 2013 to 2016, overseeing 11,000 employees, 17 manufacturing plants, and US$4 billion in revenues. Prior to that, he held several positions within GE Capital over a 13-year period, including CEO of the Real Estate business, managing more than US$5 billion in assets and one of the largest industrial warehouse platforms, comprising 200 buildings and 17 million square feet.
Raúl holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Anáhuac and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
Carlos has more than 35 years of working experience. He began his career at Arthur Andersen, a firm that later merged with Deloitte. He was admitted as a partner in 1999. He was responsible for the efforts of the Real Estate & Hospitality industry and a member of the Mexico Executive Committee. In 2021, he was admitted as a partner at the firm EY. In December 2023, he joined Fibra Next as Finance Director.
Carlos is a public accountant from ITAM and has an MBA from the same institution. He completed the Alta Dirección (Senior Management) program at IPADE in 2005. He has been a pro bono member of boards such as ADI, CNET, México Unido Contra La Delincuencia, Lomas Sporting Club and Club de Empresarios Bosques, among others.
Diego has more than 15 years of experience in prestigious international law firms. His practice focuses on transactions related to the development and financing of infrastructure projects, specifically real estate and energy, corporate law, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and proceedings before the National Banking and Securities Commission and the Mexican Stock Exchange. He has represented multiple public and private companies, financial institutions, project developers, governmental entities and investment funds in several financing and M&A transactions, both domestic and international. Prior to joining Fibra Next he was an Associate at Jones Day. He has experience in international law firms such as White & Case and Haynes and Boone. Diego holds a Law Degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and a Diploma in Energy Law from Escuela Libre de Derecho.
